Tokyo 東京
Leading the Conversation in Asia
The Pivot Point of Global Strategy
The Tokyo branch, founded in 2021, is the newest YPFP branch and the first in Asia. It serves as a nexus for scholars, students, and professionals to connect with the global foreign policy community. At YPFP Tokyo, we reinforce a commitment to truly global leadership by connecting those living in or interested in Asia with the rest of the world. Every discussion and project here is a step toward a more integrated and informed international perspective.

Defining the Indo-Pacific Future
In a region as dynamic as Asia, your voice matters. We help you move beyond the business card to engage in programs that provide in-depth knowledge of specific regions and subjects.
Join our branch to participate in Peer-Led Discussion Groups, International Research Projects, and high-level seminars with human rights experts and climate changemakers. We provide the platform; you provide the vision.

Proof that we do much more than just swap business cards.

Our Programs
Discussion Groups
Peer-led communities offering members the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of specific regional or thematic subjects.

Climate & Sustainability

Our Partners
YPFP Tokyo maintains a dynamic track record of hosting impactful events featuring distinguished speakers from global academic institutions, regional NGOs, and international policy missions. We pride ourselves on being a bridge between Japan’s intellectual hubs and the global stage. We have established core collaborations with prestigious institutions including The University of Tokyo’s Graduate Program on Human Security (HSP) and the Research Center for Sustainable Peace (RCSP). Our outreach extends to grassroots impact through partnerships with the East Asia Young Scholars Association (EAYSA), Climate Youth Japan, and human rights organizations like Nationality For All and NPO Houboku.

YPFP Tokyo Embassy Visit 大使館訪問 | Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo コソボ共和国大使館
