THANK YOU for making the 2025 International Conference on Human Rights: Youth in Asia a powerful success!

Over three impactful days (March 20–22) at The University of Tokyo’s Komaba Campus, we brought together voices from across Asia and the world to confront some of the most urgent human rights issues of our time—AI & ethics, deepfakes, gender and educational inequality, environmental justice, political polarization, refugee protection, and more.

With 9 engaging panels, a special seminar, and participation from over 30+ institutions across continents, this conference was a celebration of youth-led research, interdisciplinary thinking, and global solidarity.

To all the young scholars, seasoned academics, activists, moderators, and volunteers of YPFP Tokyo Community—thank you for your inspiring contributions, insightful questions, and the community we built together.

We’re especially proud to have created a space that centered Asian perspectives and encouraged inclusive, meaningful exchanges beyond borders and disciplines.

Let’s carry this momentum forward and keep working together for a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
