Bio
Lye Ke Yeng is a PhD student in Social Anthropology at Soka University, Japan. With a bachelor’s degree in International Liberal Arts and a master’s degree in International Peace Studies, she recognizes that addressing global issues requires a deep epistemological engagement and reflection on how we construct knowledge about the world. This conviction drives her involvement with YPFP Tokyo, where she seeks to serve as a bridge between civil society and the international community, fostering collaboration across levels through diverse projects. Ke Yeng has been consistently engaged in interdisciplinary research, striving to develop creative solutions starting within her own community. As an experienced dancer, she has initiated projects that integrate the arts, education, leadership, and peace at the higher education level, exploring how creative practices can inspire social change and youth empowerment.
