Leadership Volunteer, Los Angeles Branch
Mark is a leadership volunteer for YPFP Los Angeles with expertise in space technology as it relates to national security. He serves as Head of Business Development and Strategy at Reditus Space, a venture-backed technology firm developing space-based defense assets. Mark has worked across the space startup ecosystem supporting national security priorities as both a defense technology operator and on the venture capital side.
Intern
Nikki is an intern for YPFP LA and a rising senior at Pepperdine studying Economics. She has served as a PPIA fellow at Princeton University, interned for A4AL, and holds many on-campus leadership roles in debate and political advocacy. She is interested in the intersection of the private and public sectors in trade policy, especially considering East Asia-U.S. affairs. After graduation, she plans to pursue further education in international relations and public policy.
Responsible for the D.C.'s discussion groups
As Discussion Group Manager, Connor is responsible for the D.C. branch’s network of topical, regional, and language-based discussion groups, ensuring that each group has the resources, coordination, and visibility it needs to succeed.
Advisor to support young emerging leaders
Lauren is the Founder and Advisor for Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Tokyo, a youth-led, youth-focused NGO that fosters international, inclusive, and intergenerational dialogue on pivotal issues for Japan and the world.
