Elaine works as the programme officer in Tokyo
I joined YPFP to contribute to meaningful policy discussions, expand my understanding of global security and governance, and collaborate with internationally minded professionals across diverse sectors.
Bio
My name is Elaine, and I hold a Master’s degree in Policy Studies from the University of Washington, where my research and academic focus centered on public policy, regulation, global affairs, and human rights. I also earned undergraduate degrees in Law, Economics & Public Policy, Global Studies, and Community Psychology, with additional minors in Business Administration and Human Rights. Professionally, I have experience in business development, recruitment consulting, legal support, and stakeholder coordination across healthcare and international environments. I currently work as a Consultant, where I specialize in healthcare and client relationship management. I also have experience as a legal assistant and completed an internship with Basel Action Network, focusing on environmental justice and sustainable policy initiatives. My professional interests are primarily in compliance, policy, healthcare innovation, and project management, particularly in international and cross-functional environments. I am fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational Japanese proficiency.
