Policy & Diplomacy Officer
Mia joined YPFP Brussels in May 2026. She was motivated to engage more closely with the Brussels policy community, expand her network and further develop her interests in foreign policy, diplomacy, security and defence.
Bio
Mia is an Officer in the Policy & Diplomacy Team at YPFP Brussels, which she joined in May 2026. In this role, she supports policy-oriented programming, stakeholder engagement and activities on diplomacy, security and international affairs. In her professional capacity, Mia is Project Officer at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), where she contributes to the acquisition, development and implementation of research and projects on EU foreign and security policy, defence, geopolitics and emerging technologies. She has experience organising high-level roundtables, simulations, executive trainings and conferences and has worked on projects and proposals involving Horizon Europe, DG CNECT, NATO and Ministries of Defence, among others. She holds an MA in Global Security and Strategy from Vesalius College and a BSc in International Relations from the University of Florence.
