Bio
I am Yumeka Kakinuma, a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree at Sophia University's Faculty of Liberal Arts (FLA). In FLA, I major in the International Business and Economics course, and mainly study marketing, socio-economic issues, and business management. However, my interest extends beyond these areas, including anthropology, philosophy, and sociology. By taking a variety of classes, I have developed an interdisciplinary perspective. As an extracurricular activity, I belong to two groups at my university: Peer Cafe and Sophia Refugee Support Group (SRSG). In Peer Cafe, we support Sophia University's applicants, freshman students, and exchange students in various ways. Additionally, when we ran a booth in this group at the Sophia festival, I served as a representative of this community, where there are over 500 members. On the other hand, in SRSG, I serve as the leader of the Japanese class committee and teach the refugees Japanese twice a week via Zoom and once a month in person on our campus.

Fun Fact:
I am passionate about exploring different countries' cuisines, so let me know your recommendations. For now, I love Thai food, especially pad thai.
