The Official U.S. Hosting Partner

YPFP is the officially recognized organization for selecting and sending U.S. delegates to the Y7 and Y20. We work closely with international partners to ensure that the youth voice is represented at the highest levels of diplomacy.

The Youth Delegates develop policy statements (communiqués) representing young voices addressed to the G7 and G20 leadership. YPFP is the organizing body for the American delegation in the Y7 2026 and Y20 2027 Summits.

*Note, the USA Y7 and Y20 delegation does not represent the U.S. federal government in any capacity.

Post-Summit

Post-Summit Engagement

Delegates often remain active with YPFP and Y7/Y20 networks, debrief with U.S. policymakers, publish op-eds, and share insights with the YPFP community. Many go on to speak at events, join future selection panels, or mentor future delegates.

The Y7 Summit gave me a voice in global policymaking. Representing the U.S. youth delegation wasn’t just an honor—it was a responsibility. I left with a renewed sense of purpose and a global network of changemakers.

Nina R., Y7 2023 Delegate, YPFP DC

From negotiating climate language to presenting our proposals to G7 leaders, Y7 was the most meaningful international experience of my early career. YPFP prepared me every step of the way.

Daniel T., Y7 2022 Delegate, YPFP London

The Y20 Summit gave me the rare opportunity to influence the global conversation on inclusive economic growth. Collaborating with youth from across the G20 expanded both my worldview and my leadership capacity.

Sofia M., Y20 2024 Delegate, YPFP New York

At Y20, I saw firsthand how youth can shape real policy outcomes. I brought back more than ideas—I returned with tools, allies, and the motivation to keep pushing for change.
