Bio

Sarah Nesbit (she/her) is a social impact strategist, multifaceted creative, and community builder working at the intersection of economic equity, sustainability, and public policy.

She is currently a member of the External Affairs team at Capital One, where she supports efforts to align internal strategy with the perspectives and expectations of key external stakeholders. Sarah is also the Co-Founder of BlackOak Collective, a national network of Black advocates and professionals dedicated to advancing careers in the environmental and sustainability sectors.

Her work centers on inclusive economic growth, workforce access, and translating community and advocacy perspectives into institutional decision-making. She is honored to serve as Head Delegate for the United States at the 2026 Y7 Summit, leading the Economic and Demographic Imbalances track.

Sarah holds a dual master’s degree in Business Management and Global Luxury Innovation with a focus on sustainable systems from NC State University and the Skema Business School of Paris. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston.
