Bio

Thomas (Huan-Cheng) Liu (he/him) is an international development and sustainability professional at Accenture. Given his extensive work in launching, scaling, and transforming innovation competitions, venture launchers, accelerators, and startups, as well as supporting foundations, INGOs, and international institutions, he is particularly passionate about cross-sector partnerships, venture building, and strengthening the innovation ecosystem within the development and sustainability sectors.

Thomas has also worked for the executive and legislative branches of the US federal government, the private sector, and membership organizations, mentored emerging climate tech startups, and served on nonprofit, university, and local government boards, where he developed skills in communications, events, fundraising, governance, grantmaking, project management, research, strategic planning, and talent. Thomas is a graduate of William & Mary with a degree in Government and Business Analytics. He is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese/Hokkien and has lived, studied, and worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
