Why I Joined

I wanted to be around people who shared my passion for global affairs. I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. I wanted community. And I found all of that in YPFP

Bio

Kolby is a Managing Director at FGS Global, advising clients worldwide on public diplomacy and strategic communications. Before joining FGS, he led stakeholder engagement and external affairs for the University of California Washington Program (UCDC) and served as a legislative aide to U.S. Representative Alan Lowenthal.

A past president of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP), Kolby serves as Chair Emeritus of the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) and as a board member of the NSHSS Foundation. He graduated summa cum laude from UC Irvine with the Chancellor's Award of Distinction.
