Bio

Kaitlyn Garman is Senior Vice President at Beacon Global Strategies, a strategic advisory firm specializing in geopolitical risk analysis, national security, and emerging technologies. She advises leading companies and institutions on navigating global technology and national security policies.

She is a Senior Fellow with the Tech Policy Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and a Fellow at the National Security Institute (NSI) at George Mason University.

Previously Ms. Garman worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Confidential Assistant to the Secretary of Defense and his Chief of Staff. For her time in this role, she received the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service. Prior to her time at the Pentagon, she worked as a research analyst at a major defense contractor, focusing on international security, communications, and legislative affairs.

Ms. Garman graduated from Gettysburg College magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University.
