Bio

Tanaz has completed her Master’s degree specializing in security and defense. Her research examined gendered gaps in environmental security governance, particularly the vulnerabilities of Indigenous women. She is currently undertaking a traineeship at the European Parliament, focusing on the Middle East.


She previously earned her BA in Social Sciences with a focus on political science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. With a German-Iranian background, she brings a multicultural perspective and a strong interest in international politics and cross-cultural dialogue.


Tanaz serves as Advisors Program Officer, where she supports advisor–advisee matching and organizes value-driven events, building on her experience in youth organizations.


She is fluent in German, Farsi, and English, has working knowledge of French, and is currently learning Italian.
