
Katelin Romano

As Director of Partnerships & Engagement, Katelin leads and manages partnerships and stakeholder engagement, including with foreign policy organizations, embassies, and Congress.
Katelin joined YPFP to explore foreign policy, build connections, and support professional growth through meaningful engagement and opportunities.
Bio
Katelin Romano is the Program Associate for Government Affairs at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), where she supports the organization’s Government Affairs program and assists in setting strategy and directing outreach to policymakers on foreign policy, national security, and international economic issues.
She brings experience in trade policy and public affairs from her time at Mindset, a bipartisan public policy firm, where she conducted quantitative policy research, monitored regulatory and legislative developments, and supported coalition building efforts. She has also worked across congressional offices and political campaigns, including in roles with former Senator Robert Menendez, former Representative Mikie Sherrill, and on a local campaign in New Orleans.
She is also a member of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group and a participant of the Girl Security mentorship program. She received her bachelor’s degree in international development from Tulane University.
