Bio
Giulia is a fourth-year Human Rights student at Wilfrid Laurier University and Managing Director at YPFP Toronto, where she is passionate about fostering meaningful engagement among young professionals interested in international affairs, diplomacy, and public policy. Through her role, she works to support YPFP’s programming, community, and broader mission of connecting emerging leaders with opportunities to engage in foreign policy. Outside of YPFP, Giulia works as a Research Analyst and External Events Officer at the Plakhov Group, contributing to research, stakeholder engagement, and the development and coordination of external events. She also works as a political staffer in Brantford, Ontario, where she has gained firsthand experience in politics, public policy, and constituent relations. Her academic background in Human Rights further informs her interest in international affairs, human rights advocacy, and social impact.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Giulia is committed to philanthropy and community engagement. She has fundraised in support of women in Ghana and is passionate about advancing opportunities for women and girls both locally and internationally. Her experiences across politics, research, human rights, and philanthropy have shaped her interest in building a career at the intersection of public service, international affairs, and meaningful social impact.
