Mariam Lomtadze is an AI Strategy & Innovation Manager at Project Destined, working at the intersection of technology, public policy, and digital systems. Named a 2026 Rising Expert in Technology Governance by Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, Mariam has held roles with the United Nations, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, UNDP, the Virginia General Assembly, and a range of policy and governance institutions across the United States, Europe, and Australia. Her work bridges diplomacy and innovation, focusing on how technologies and digital tools can strengthen governance, civic trust, and institutional resilience in transitional states. Mariam earned her bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Richmond as a Presidential and Global Scholar.
