In the meantime, you can try switching your tablet browser to "Desktop" mode to view the full interface or join us on mobile.
To prevent any disruption to your YPFP experience however, you can still use the quick links below to become a member, log in to your member profile, view upcoming events, donate, or check out our socials.
Thank you for your patience while we upgrade your network!

Democracy and Governance
The Democracy and Governance Programmatic Sphere at YPFP explores the institutions, practices, and challenges that shape political systems around the world. Through expert panels, simulations, workshops, and cross-branch discussions, members engage with topics such as democratic resilience, electoral integrity, civic engagement, authoritarianism, and global governance frameworks. Events often include collaborations with think tanks, academic institutions, and international democracy organizations.
Participants gain critical insights into the policy mechanisms that sustain—or threaten—democratic institutions and rule of law. The sphere builds members’ understanding of political systems, strengthens skills in comparative analysis, advocacy, and institutional design, and prepares emerging leaders to drive democratic innovation in an increasingly complex global landscape.
Strategic Leads
These volunteer officers are responsible for the vision and execution of YPFP’s thematic programming. They leverage their specialization in the field to curate high-impact programming, from scenario-based wargaming to exclusive briefings. By bridging the gap between emerging professionals and established policy institutions, our Leads ensure that YPFP remains at the forefront of international affairs discourse. If you or your organization are interested in collaborating on future programming, we invite you to reach out to our team.
