YPFP DC gathered for a timely conversation on U.S. policy toward Venezuela.

Our panelists brought perspectives from both sides of the aisle, Jana Nelson, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs during the Biden Administration, and Carrie Filipetti, Executive Director of the Vandenberg Coalition and former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cuba and Venezuela during the Trump Administration. The discussion was moderated by Gil Guerra, Immigration Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center and YPFP Rising Experts Director.

From security strategy to diplomatic posture, the conversation covered what U.S. policy toward Venezuela has looked like, and where it might go next. Thank you to our speakers and everyone who joined us!
