Driving Policy for a Resilient Planet

The Climate Programmatic Sphere at YPFP engages young professionals in the global effort to address climate change through policy, diplomacy, and innovation. Members participate in expert panels, policy simulations, collaborative workshops, and advocacy campaigns that tackle key issues such as climate diplomacy, sustainable development, energy transitions, climate security, and environmental justice. Events often align with major international milestones like COP summits and foster dialogue between policymakers, scientists, activists, and global institutions.

Participants gain a deep understanding of the geopolitical and socioeconomic dimensions of climate policy. They develop skills in climate negotiation, systems thinking, and stakeholder engagement—equipping them to lead climate action efforts across government, multilateral institutions, and civil society.
