This precious opportunity aims to learn more about the Portuguese Republic’s feminist foreign policy and global diplomacy on gender equality, as well as the country's contributions to the Women’s Empowerment and Feminist Foreign Policy within the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda.

Introducing our honorable speaker, H.E.Gilberto Jerónimo, the Ambassador of Portugal to Japan.🇵🇹 He has been a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for over three decades, effectively cultivating his diplomatic career. Before coming to Japan, he served as Permanent Representative of Portugal to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

今回の訪問では2025年の3月より大使を務めておられます、ジルベルト・ジェロニモ大使に登壇していただきます🇵🇹来日される以前、ジェロニモ大使は外務省で30年以上にわたり外交の最前線を歩み、ストラスブールの欧州評議会常駐代表も務められました。
