Scholarship for Johns Hopkins University’s Master of Arts in Global Policy The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy are pleased to announce a scholarship program for the Master of Arts in Global Policy (MAGP), a 16-month graduate degree designed to specifically accommodate working professionals. The scholarship program is available for the 2020-2021 academic year, which begins in July 2020. YPFP members accepted into the MAGP program will be awarded a scholarship covering 15% of the tuition. You are also encouraged to apply for half-tuition scholarships that are awarded to exceptional candidates. Summer Diplomatic AcademyThe Summer Diplomatic Academy is a unique and intensive practical training program that introduces undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates to careers in international diplomacy. The program also includes career-counseling sessions. Students receive certificates from the Academy.The course is taught by career ambassadors and other professional diplomats, who have served in dozens of countries over several decades. They provide insight into policy-making and implementation, diplomatic protocol, the functions and management of embassies and consulates, diplomatic reporting and writing, negotiation and mediation, political and economic tradecraft, public diplomacy and cross-cultural communication and other skills and competencies.YPFP members are eligible for $1,000 partial scholarships.
