The three delegates selected by YPFP are:


Lauren S Power
Research Fellow & Graduate Student, University of Tokyo, Japan

Lauren has dedicated herself to understanding expatriate identity, community, employment, and mobility trends. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, during her undergraduate career at Texas Christian University, she embarked on international exchanges and diplomatic delegations to China, Swaziland, Japan, Mexico, and the UK. Driven to develop her international connections in Asia, Lauren spent nearly 10 years living and working in Japan and Singapore, both in the private sector and on international Boards
of non-profit organizations. In 2017, she returned to Texas to launch her own consultancy, Power Corporate Communications (PCC), in support of corporate FDI and successful integration of expatriates into the North Texas business community.

Building upon these experiences and to enrich her study of expatriates, Lauren accepted a position as a Research Fellow and Graduate Student at the University of Tokyo in Japan in 2018. She has been accepted to speak about her research at international conferences around the world. In 2019, Lauren began her work with the OECD as an Intern, later receiving a promotion to become an Official and continue her research as HR Projects
Coordinator. She is honored to serve the 2020 Y20 American Delegation as Head Delegate.

Ms. Andreanna Mond
MA, Arcadia University

Andreanna Mond is passionate about intercultural intelligence as a pathway to peace because of her personal experience with the social contact theory in high school that changed the trajectory of her life. It was here that she learned to question narratives and the stories she'd heard about the world, leading her to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where obtained her Bachelor's in History. 

She is now an emerging professional who recently graduate from the International Peace and Conflict Resolution Master's Program at Arcadia University, where she focused on cultural intelligence, cross cultural exchange, and study away programming at the university level for US institutions. Prior to her time at Arcadia she served two terms with AmeriCorps with the non-profit College Possible as a Campus Based High School Coach where she had charge over a diverse group of forty students. 

She continues to questions narratives about how countries portray relations using stories and narratives, while seeking opportunities to engage with the world and expand her knowledge base and understanding of past and current conflicts as she shamelessly hunts for chances to go abroad.

Jesse Lin
Project Specialist, Digital Trade, World Economic Forum

Jesse Lin works in the intersection of emerging technologies and public policy. He hopes to maximize the benefits of technologies while mitigating the harms through enacting effective policy and regulatory rails while working with a diverse and multistakeholder community.  

He is the project specialist for the digital trade portfolio at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution focusing on tradetech, digital payments, e-commerce, data flows, and trade policy. Jesse previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later led business operations at Returnbase, a Y Combinator-backed e-commerce and logistics start-up.

Jesse graduated summa cum laude from University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science.
