POSTPONED Tools of the Trade: How to Use Social Media to Spread Your Ideas?

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen change in our speaker's schedule, we have been forced to postpone the event. We are currently looking into re-scheduling the event for this autumn. Everyone who registered will automatically pre-registered for this event.

In a busy world where everyone has a case to make, how can you make sure your voice is heard among all the others? Social media is a great tool for young professionals to showcase their ideas, but to know how and when to use which tool can seem perplexing. YPFP gives you a chance to learn from the best as we explore ways of using social media to spread your message with the Communications Officer at the Institute for European Studies (IES), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Marie Tuley. Marie knows the ins and outs of social media and daily works with academics and students to ensure that their research also resounds on the internet.

Marie Tuley is a creative professional and communications specialist with 5 years of experience working in the non-profit and academic environment. She is passionate about communications and language in general and enjoys nothing more than working with text, images and design. Marie has many creative skills and also works on design and layout of publications. She heads a small communications team at the Institute for
European Studies, a research institute at the Flemish university in Brussels (VUB). She is responsible for and coordinates IES' external and internal communication, the Communications Task Force and the overall IES Communications Strategy.

This event is only for YPFP members.
