Savannah Fox is the Human Rights Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP). Savannah is a Regional Advocacy Coordinator at CARE International in the Advocacy and Policy Unit in Washington DC. She leads advocacy and legislative work on ending poverty with a focus on woman and girls’ education and health. Previously, Savannah was a National Field Organizer at Amnesty International USA where she developed and implemented grassroots strategies on some of the most pressing human rights challenges both domestically and around the world. She has the opportunity to train over a hundred activists around the country each year and is a trained human rights observer. She earned her BA in International Relations and German from the University of South Carolina. Over the past six years she has led winning campaigns on death penalty abolition, women rights, immigrant rights, police accountability, and ending gun violence. Savannah is also a 2017 New Leaders Council Fellow in Washington DC.
