Carlos Ibarra is the first Mexican to run across America.
On April 30, 2015, Carlos set out on a 72-day journey from Brooklyn, NY and ran an average of 40 miles a day (no days off!) to reach his final destination of Huntington Beach, CA. Together with a crew of filmmakers, Carlos was able to explore the majestic landscapes of America and fulfill a goal most people wouldn’t deem possible. What starts out as a solo adventure for this tenacious athlete slowly evolves into the story of the many faces that make up America -- touching upon the themes of immigration, family, pride, love, triumphs, failures, and the never ending fight to reach your true potential. While on his run, he successfully raised over $4,000 to help under-privileged youth get closer to their dream of attending college.
