Robert Souza is an Assistant Managing Editor of the Fellowship Program at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP). Robert is a Middle East Research Analyst at The Center for the Study of Targeted Killing, where he monitors developments in international security, particularly those related to Operation Inherent Resolve. In 2016, Robert served as a Four Star Fellow at The Jamestown Foundation. In this role, Robert collaborated with Jamestown Analyst Brian Glyn Williams in researching America’s war on ISIL, as well as Russia’s military involvement in Syria. He and Williams have since decided to expand their work into a joint book project. Robert holds an MA in International Relations with a concentration on terrorism and sub-state violence from Suffolk University, as well as a BS in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
