The Partnership for a Secure America (PSA) is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as Program Manager.
PSA is dedicated to recreating the bipartisan center in American national security and foreign policy. To achieve these ends, PSA:
• Develops and seeks bipartisan consensus on a series of national security and foreign policy issues;
• Works to build coalitions to support recreating the bipartisan center in American national security and foreign policy;
• Conducts a national earned and paid media campaign using the most sophisticated communication tools based on joint, bipartisan positions.

The Program Manager will:
• Play a leading strategic and organizational role in helping to strengthen and build PSA;
• Research and draft bipartisan policy statements and other PSA publications (both academic and media related);
• Build strategic partnerships with other foreign policy organizations to promote PSA initiatives;
• Manage the organization's online presence and advocacy strategies;
• Cultivate press relationships that will promote coverage of PSA's activities;
• Take a leading role in fundraising activities, including identifying donors, developing relationships, proposal writing, and report writing;
• Work with members of the PSA Advisory Board, Board of Directors and PSA senior staff in developing and rolling out PSA projects;
• Work with elected officials and relevant federal agencies to promote PSA’s message;
• Develop innovative strategies for promoting PSA's messages;
• Plan and organize PSA events (conferences, meetings, and other activities).

Qualifications:
• MA in International Relations, Political Science, or related field and work experience in advocacy/think tank community
• Strong writing, research, and editing skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and web tools
• Self-starter, highly responsible, positive attitude
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
