Please join the New York branch of YPFP for a workshop on resume writing on Thursday, August 20 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at a residential in the West 70s (to be disclosed to registrants).
Our staff speaker on professional development will share advice on how to approach your search, how to craft a resume that tells your story in the strongest and most accurate way possible, and how to best format your document for international affairs, business, and legal organizations.
Please note that this workshop is limited to 15 attendees (YPFP members will be given priority) due to the the level of detail required to adequately answer questions about resumes. Please bring a print copy of your resume on which you can make notes.
About the Speaker:
Gregory Daniels is an American-Canadian content strategist, writer, and editor for global audiences. Mr. Daniels has been a member of YPFP since late 2013, joined as staff in early 2014, and earlier this year conlcuded his tenure as Director, Membership to lead and coordinate YPFP's professional development programming in New York. His first job after graduate school was a communications position in the Office of Career Services at Columbia Law School, where he had the opportunity to read well over 1,000 resumes for an international student body. During his time leading the Membership team for YPFP, Gregory had the opportunity to read hundreds of applications. Mr. Daniels holds an M.S. in international affairs from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
