Join YPFP London for a discussion on the current situation in North Korea and the international community's response. Our expert panel will be exploring this issue and it will be an amazing opportunity to discuss in depth the strategic, regional and economic implications of North Korea's nuclear ambitions. Speaking on our panel will be:
Tom Plant - Director of RUSI's Proliferation and Nuclear Policy programme. His research interests include nuclear deterrence, arms control, proliferation issues, and UK nuclear policy. He is also Director of the UK Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI), a young professionals network focusing on contemporary nuclear related issues.
Andrea Berger - Senior Research Associate and a Senior Program Manager for the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Her research interests include North Korea’s WMD programs, sanctions and export controls, countering proliferation finance, and nonproliferation and disarmament diplomacy.
Giulia Zino - Associate Director, Global Issues at Control Risks and currently manages a team of analysts providing political, security and integrity risks to businesses operating around the world. She was previously based in Singapore where she worked as the Senior Asia-Pacific Consultant examining the full range of geopolitical issues across the region.
