Applications are now closed for YPFP's first Leadership Incubator Module of 2015: Intelligence
The module will begin on Tuesday, February 24 and meet weekly until Tuesday, April 14. Events are from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
YPFP's Intelligence module will provide:
Knowledge, such as an awareness and understanding of the Intelligence Community. Participants will also gain the ability to distinguish between the fundamental disciplines of Intelligence (HUMINT, TECHINT, SIGINT, and OSINT) and organizations within the Intelligence Community. Participants will build a conceptual foundation to understand the strategic implications of this newfound knowledge and recognize the specific ways intelligence informs and is used in the policy making process.
Skills, such as fluency in the language and terminology of the intelligence field. Participants will gain a familiarity with basic intelligence analysis and awareness of sophisticated intelligence collection platforms and an understanding of when to utilize different styles of Intelligence collection and analysis appropriately. This module will emphasize concise writing and sharpen briefing skills.
Exposure, including the ability to interact with and learn from leading thinkers and practitioners in this field. Participants will experience the analytical benefits of a variety of Intelligence skills, techniques, and platforms while gaining rare insight into a tight-knit and insular community.
Relationships built through connections with industry leaders and peers. This module will foster a select group of young professionals who will remain connected after the conclusion of the module. Participants will share knowledge, ideas, and strategies through valuable discussions with peers.
