COMMUNICATIONS
 
Communications is a crucial aspect of YPFP's efforts to articulate its mission and demonstrate the value of its programs to our members, the foreign policy community, potential funders, and the public. Working with the Communications Staff provides opportunities to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, interact with all of the people and programs within YPFP; produce creative materials; employ and hone writing, journalism, marketing, photography, and graphic design skills; gain valuable leadership and management experience; and be a part of a dynamic team of young professionals from Washington, New York, London, Brussels, and around the world. • Associate Director of Media Relations: The Associate Director of Media Relations is a senior position on the Communications Staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and media relations - http://www.ypfp.org/associatedirectormediarelations [2]
• Editor of the YPFP Wire: The Editor of the YPFP Wire formulates the creative and substantive direction of YPFP's newsletter, which is currently released every two months. This position requires creativity, strong editing skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management - http://www.ypfp.org/editorypfpwire [3]
• Graphic Designers: The Graphic Designers are responsible for developing the visual "brand" of YPFP. They will ideally be located in DC, but applicants from other branches are welcome to apply. • Photographers: The Photographers will creatively document the activities of YPFP's programs and events from the individual branches of Washington DC, London, New York, and Brussels, and applicants from all branches are welcome. • Staff writers: Staff writers from each branch contribute the bulk of the communications content for YPFP's informational, publicity and marketing materials, and all members are welcome to apply.
