Position: HOMELAND SECURITY ANALYST
Position located in Arlington, VA
Description:
BCS, Incorporated requires an Homeland Security Analyst with 3 – 5 years experience in evaluation of state, local and national grant programs with particular emphasis on emergency management programs. Candidate should have familiarity with infrastructure or homeland security planning, implementation, or evaluation of private, federal, state or local plans or programs. Candidates should have strong quantitative and writing skills, including experience in implementing predictive analytical methods such as statistical probability, linear regression, or predictive modeling. Candidate must have ability to analyze large amounts of data, form logical conclusions, and develop concise summary results in the form of white papers, dashboards, and presentations. Must have strong skills in MS Excel and/or Access. Excellent writing and presentation skills are required.
All candidates must be able to demonstrate leadership, creativity and strong problem solving and time management skills. Candidate will work under supervision of group manager but must be able to lead small work teams as well as perform independent assignments. Assignments will range from quick-turn-around requests to long-term analysis. BA/BS in relevant field required.
Requirements:
Full-time position. Must be able to work in client office located Arlington, VA with travel to BCS in Laurel, MD at least twice a month. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
