Nathan Puffer is Director of Risk at Dow Jones. There he assist the company and its publications to understand and mitigate a broad and unique range of business and editorial risks to sustain a resilient and capable commercial platform in service of the public interest.
Before joining Dow Jones Nathan was the Senior Vice President of Programs and later President of Global Integrated Security, a national security firm providing unique solutions to the U.S. government and private clients across the globe. Before entering the private sector Nathan served in the United States Marine Corps intelligence field and after graduating university in Washington, DC worked for CSIS and CFR where he focused on U.S. policy toward Russia and Eurasia. He is a long-standing board member of Young Professional in Foreign Policy and remains active in the foreign policy community.
