Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of YPFP, a dynamic organization for young professionals in the field of foreign policy. We have two tiers of membership, affiliate and general. Please see here for more detail outlining the categories and benefits. 

Apply for Affiliate Membership

Please see below for the process of your membership application:

  1. Apply: To apply for membership please first create an account, then complete the membership application.

  2. Review: YPFP makes every effort to quickly review and accept or not, new membership applications.  You can usually expect a response within 3 weeks of applying.

Upgrade to General Membership

  1. Dues Payment: Once you receive a confirmation email that you are a member please click here to pay your General membership dues. Please do not pay dues until you receive confirmation.

Renew General Membership 

General Membership status must be renewed annually.

Membership Classes

New members will become part of YPFP's new quarterly class system. Each membership class will be admitted on a rolling basis and will be able to attend YPFP events as soon as they are accepted. Members of each class will have a New Membership Orientation to meet their fellow YPFP members and will be encouraged to coordinate events as a class.  This will allow new members to integrate into the YPFP community quickly, build personal relationships and understand how they can take advantage of YPFP's diverse programs and offerings.

 

Membership Class - Approximate Dates

  • Winter Class - Applications Received Between November 1 and February 1
  • Spring Class - Applications Received Between February 1 and May 1
  • Summer Class - Applications Received Between May 1 and August 1
  • Fall Class - Applications Received Between August 1 and November 1
