Development Transformations (DT) is a specialized consultancy that enhances interagency responses to a range of complex situations including humanitarian disasters, weak and failing states, and post-conflict stabilization. DT offers training and technical expertise for both military and civilian practitioners on joint planning methodologies, how to better understand the operational environment, and cooperative approaches to program design and implementation.

DT is looking for candidates to serve as Stabilization Advisers in Afghanistan working with military units and diplomats to help them design programming at the district and village level to promote stability. Candidates should have at least one year of experience working in Afghanistan on stabilization, development, or humanitarian programming and additional years of experience working in other countries undergoing rapid transition. Experience working closely with the military is also important although it is not necessary to have been a member of a military organization.
