Job Responsibilities

The overnight Media Monitoring Analyst provides The Rendon Group's (TRG) clients with real-time information as it relates to our clients’ specifications. We are looking for support in our DC office during the overnight shift (11 pm to 7 am). 

The analyst reads and analyzes open-source and proprietary news feeds, determines their importance based on the clients' requirements, and compiles and sends news alerts to our clients. The analyst also facilitates communication between TRG team members around the globe and supports TRG programs as needed. Training will be provided.Work for this 24/7 operation is generally executed alone and outside core business hours. Support is needed on overnights, weekends, and holidays. This position pays $17/hr and is not eligible for benefits.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: An undergraduate junior or senior or a master’s candidate in international studies, public relations, or related field. Strong analytical/writing skills and a robust interest in international affairs/politics. International ‘news junkies' will enjoy this position.

Skills and Abilities: Foreign language proficiency desired. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and know how to prioritize.
