Director, Communications, New York Branch (Volunteer Position)
The Communications Department of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy: New York (YPFP: NY) is looking for an individual who can contribute to branch communication efforts through multimedia projects and photography. This team member will report directly to the Director of Communications.
This team member will liaise with speakers and YPFP NY members by taking photographs to document event and help disseminate them on YPFP: NY’s social media channels. YPFP: NY is also looking to expand its content output through multimedia efforts (video interviews, podcasts), which this team member would head up. This is an excellent opportunity to not only make a contribution to the extant workings of a dynamic team but also to help create and execute a brand new front of YPFP: NY communications.
Primary requirements include:
- YPFP membership (must be current)
- a commitment to attend YPFP: NY events
- a camera and photography experience
- an interest in volunteerism and foreign affairs
