Imagining the World in 2030

Our partners at PS21 have organised this excellent event to which they have graciously extended an invitation to our members. Please RSVP through this link.

From the rise of the internet, smart devices and social media to seismic geopolitical, social and economical shifts, the 21st century has already seen much change. How will the world look by 2030? In conjunction with Jujus bar and stage, PS21 gathers together an expert panel to discuss technology, society, politics, money and culture. A uniquely qualified panel will sketch out how they believe the world will have changed by then, followed by a free-flowing discussion and a cash bar.

Peter Apps - Executive Director, PS21 [moderator]

John Basset - Former senior GCHQ official. Member of the PS21 board.

Jessica Toale - Co-ordinator, Fabian Society International Policy Group and executive director of the Centre for Development Results. Formerly, she was also political advisor to two shadow secretaries of state for international development.

Kate Devlin - Senior Lecturer, Goldsmiths College. Author of 'Turned on: Silence of the Sex Robot', out 2018
