Highlights from Last Week's Event “Professional Progress of Women in Security and Policy ”

YPFP Tel Aviv held the August gathering titled “Gender Equality in Foreign Policy and International Relations” on August 27, 2015.


YPFP Tel Aviv co-director Einav Yogev led the discussion, and talked with the participants on women leadership in security. Idit Pick discussed her MA thesis at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya on the decision making process at the government’s cabinet, from a gender equality perspective and the role that gender plays in the leadership of the state. Smadar Shaul presented her MA thesis on the identity conflict experienced by women in leadership positions. The event was concluded with a roundtable discussion and a Q&A session with the participants who shared their experiences and gave advice to each other.
