Friends of Europe's Annual Security Summit

YPFP is delighted to offer you an exclusive and rare opportunity to engage high-profile, security leaders of the Brussels Bubble during a half-day of discussion, in cooperation with Friends of Europe.

Throughout 3 different sessions, the conference will examine the multiple threats facing Europe, eastwards, southwards and inwards. Key-note speakers include Rose Gottemoeller, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Julian King, European Commissioner for the Security Union, and Pekka Haavisto, Member of the Finnish Parliament, Foreign Minister’s Special Representative on mediation and President of the European Institute of Peace.

This occasion will also serve as an opportunity to present and discuss the ten recommendations of Debating Security Plus, Friends of Europe’s 48-hour global online brainstorm, in which over 1,600 people logged on to debate the future of European and global security.

The full programme of the event can be found here
