The Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) invites you to a half-day conference on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. to discuss how the United States and our allies can succeed in Afghanistan. This event will be held at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Please RSVP by emailing your name and affiliation to rsvp@foreignpolicyi.org or by registering using the form at the right.

In advance of the NATO summit in Strasbourg-Kehl and on the same day as the international conference on Afghanistan in The Hague, this conference will offer a unique opportunity to reflect on recent developments and examine the options confronting the Obama Administration with insights from leading analysts and members of Congress.

About The Foreign Policy Initiative
FPI seeks to promote an active U.S. foreign policy committed to robust support for democratic allies, human rights, a strong American military equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century, and strengthening America's global economic competitiveness.  The organization is led by a board of directors composed of Robert Kagan, William Kristol, and Dan Senor and Policy Director Jamie Fly.  Future programming will include additional events on Afghanistan and other topics relevant to FPI’s mission.  FPI is a newly formed, non-profit, non-partisan organization intending to qualify as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
