YPFP NY: Investigating Fraud and Corruption in Development
Please join YPFP NY for a discussion on fraud and corruption in development work, with Helge Osttveiten.
Helge Osttveiten is the Director of the Office of Audit and Investigations, which is the UN Development Programme's (UNDP's) independent and autonomous mechanism for performing internal audits and conducting investigations into allegations of wrongdoing by UNDP staff or UNDP partner organizations (including vendors and state governments).
These investigations cover topics ranging from workplace harassment to fraud and corruption. Helge will present on investigating these issues to improve the UNDP work, followed by a question and answer session.
