Please join YPFP as we welcome Dr. Dana Allin to speak about his new book “Weary Policeman: American Power in an Age of Austerity”. Dr. Allin will also speak about how the US presidential election outcome will affect US policy with a special focus on Iran-Israel-US triangle

 

Dana H. Allin is Editor of Survival and Senior Fellow for Transatlantic Affairs at The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London. He is also Adjunct Professor in European Studies at the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins University, Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Visiting Professorial Lecturer in European Studies at SAIS Washington. Previously he was Deputy Director of Aspen Institute Berlin (1993-1997); Deputy Director of the International Commission on the Balkans (1995-1997); a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow (1990-91); a financial journalist based in Europe and a journalist covering Maryland state government and courts. He has a Ph.D. and M.A. in international relations from SAIS and a B.A in English from Yale University.
