Millennials Speak: Essays on the 21st Century, a crowdsourced anthology that brings together a globally diverse mix of “Millennials” from 20 countries across five continents, will hit shelves later this month.

Robert Thead, the editor and contributor of two essays, describes the book as “a snapshot of the ideas and opinions of global Millennial Generation. A diverse mix of young academics, policy professionals, and future thought and creative leaders, covers topics from the legacy of the Arab Spring, the U.S. student loan crisis, youth unemployment, to popular culture. It is a crowdsourced and crowdfunded production."

While the solutions to many of the problems covered in the book are local, the thinking behind the ideas is global. With issues such as the rise of China, climate change, a broken global food system, and youth unemployment becoming more salient, Millennials need to have a seat at the table. They are more than marginalized stakeholders. Learn more at www.millennialessays.com.
