Understanding protocol is an inherent part of diplomacy, of great relevance and importance for anyone working in an international environment. Ines Pires-Urquiza, Founder and Executive Director of the International School of Protocol and Diplomacy, will help teach members about protocol, public relations, cross cultural communication, image and branding, and how to master these soft diplomacy skills in an effective way.
The International School of Protocol and Diplomacy is Europe's leading academic institution dedicated to studies in these fields, born out of the need to prepare and certify professionals in the field of international procedures and relations.
Ines Pires-Urquiza has a degree in Economics (Universidade Lusiada), a Master’s degree in International Politics (CERIS) and Postgraduate in Image and Communication (IADE) and Protocol (Universidad Miguel Hernández). She was the advisor to the former Vice- President of the European Parliament José Pacheco Pereira and then of Vasco Graça Moura. She is an expert in Soft Diplomacy Skills, Asian Protocol and Intercultural dialogue. She has worked as a conference speaker and has collaborated with several publications. Inês has also worked as a protocol and etiquette consultant for several organisations and companies.
