After 4 years of economic crisis 2013 seems to be the turning point for the world economy to invert the route and return to grow. International trade will be a key factor in the game; to analyse the future developments in this sector YPFP Brussels and the US Mission to the EU organize a panel discussion on "Returning to growth: international trade from battleground to land of opportunities".
A high level panel of experts will explore successful strategies to fight back the economic crisis focusing on tackling trade barriers to ensure that market access is improving for transatlantic trade, but also for the US-EU block vis-à-vis the rest of the world.
We are delighted to invite you to this evening discussion with:
Ashley Miller, US Foreign Commercial Service Officer
Carsten Sorensen, Policy Officer, Trade Relations with North America, DG Trade - European Commission
Hosuk Lee-Makiyama, Director of the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE)
Joshua Chaffin, Financial Times EU Correspondent
