Wreaths Across America at Arlington Cemetery
We are honored to partner with Wreaths Across America to remember our fallen heroes and honor those that serve by laying wreaths at the graves of our veterans.
Join us at 9:00am on Saturday, December 14 to lay wreaths at Arlington Cemetery. YPFP members will meet at the top of the escalators at the Arlington Cemetery metro station at 9:00am and walk into the Cemetery together.
Wreaths Across America's theme this year is "Come with a Mission - Leave with a Memory." This event is a great opportunity to give back to the community, recognize and remember those who have sacrificed their lives for this country, and bond with fellow YPFP members.
The overall event schedule is as follows:
- 9:30am: Opening Ceremony with introductory remarks and short briefing with basic information. At this point we will move to a designated area of the ceremony and will begin the laying of wreaths.
- 11am: Wreath laying at President Kennedy's grave.
- 11:30am: Wreath laying at the USS Battleship Maine's Mast Memorial.
- 12pm: Final ceremony will take place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
