Emma Barnes, South Asia (DC) Fellow

Emma Barnes is the 2018 South Asia Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. She has worked within policy networks since 2010, including four years of government relations and public affairs consulting, where clients ranged from US and foreign government entities to major non-profits and critical industries. Emma's career began with South Asia security internships at the Council on Foreign Relations and Center for American Progress. She most recently received a MA with distinction from King's College London's School of Security Studies, and also holds a BA cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
