YPFP Director for the Annual Conference (Volunteer)
This is a new position responsible for managing all aspects of the YPFP Annual Conference by mobilizing the support of a large staff drawn from the YPFP Discussion Groups and other elements of the YPFP leadership.
Responsibilities include:
1) Coordinating the development of topics and speaker lists in conjunction with the Discussion Groups;
2) Working with the Executive Director for Programming to develop and secure the keynote speakers for the conference;
3) Working with the Director for Special Events to plan the logistics of the event;
4) Working with the Fundraising Staff to coordinate outreach efforts, including a job fair;
5) Recruiting, training, and managing any necessary staff, in coordination with the Vice President for Programming.
Moderate time commitment is expected, with work requirements increasing as the conference approaches. The Director for the Annual Conference is expected to meet regularly with the Programming Senior Staff to coordinate all necessary activities.
