Dimitar Georgiev is a global strategy and operations analyst at the Crumpton Group LLC, where he specializes in emerging and frontier markets in the Middle East and Africa, global trade, and technology. Mr. Georgiev is also a 2016 International Trade and Investment Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Prior to joining Crumpton Group, Mr. Georgiev worked for Fortress Investment Group (NYSE:FIG), where he was an analyst with the firm’s private equity business and served in various operations, finance, and business development roles supporting portfolio companies’ management in the healthcare innovation space. Previously, Mr. Georgiev completed an assignment with the US Chamber of Commerce’s Middle East and North Africa team during the 2011 Arab Spring and is the author of numerous articles and lectures that have appeared in American and international publications. He earned his MA in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and holds a BA with honors in History from St. Francis College.
